a dirty little secret

ok, so I have a confession... I have a {thing} for reusable shopping bags.  I buy them ALL the time.  If there is a cute one at the checkout aisle... yep, I buy it, every time!

but... that's not my secret.  when asked paper or plastic??  I answer plastic! {gasp}  I ALWAYS forget my lovely little bags, and ALWAYS remember how badly I want to use them when I am checking out and asked the classic {paper or plastic} question.

so, now that I am coming clean... I am going to make a conscious effort to remember my green bags and stop saying plastic at the checkout!

now isn't that pretty??

  2. I have to confess too:/ I always use plastic and feel the guilt of doing so. What a pretty site it would be to have a trunk full of those pretty bags:?

  5. we keep two or three reusable bags in the car at all times, to help combat ths problem! this way, when we pull up to a store, we just reach into the backseat and grab what we need!

now, getting them back INTO the car after we get home? that's a whole different tale!

  7. You should make yourself a couple that fold up tiny and button so that you can leave them at the bottom of your purse! Then you should make more and sell them on your shop :)

  8. I always forget too! What has helped me is to keep them in my car and when I get in to head over to the store, I put my purse in one of the reusable bags. I mean, who'd gonna forget their purse, right?

  15. I too am a bag hoarder, and used to always forget my bags. Now, before I leave for the grocery store I put my bags in the front seat under my purse. It's the only way I can remember!

  16. Me too, me too! I even went to far as to pack the reusables in the car and still forget! Eep! I reuse the plastic ones though, for lots of stuff... so that's how I make myself feel better, at least I'm not just throwing them away as soon as I unpack them, so that's acceptable, right?? *wink* Following now. :-)

  18. I forget mine too all the time. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever used a bag twice LOL. I see someone else posted about the plastic vs. paper question and she is right now. Plastic vs. paper is almost an even up swap for the environment. Interesting, isn't it.
