first hair cut...

little miss has some hair issues...

long in the front  &  long in the back

but not necessarily long on the sides!

that's right my friends... her hair resembles a mullet... and while I can appreciate once popular at one time, not the look for my little sweetheart!

but

I didn't want to cut it!  it took so long to get the hair that she finally has!  my mom finally convinced me that perhaps if we trimmed off the "baby stuff" it would grow quicker, particularly on the sides.  makes sense.. I agreed and rushed to get my camera..

she colored the whole time and never even knew she was
having her first haircut!

dreams.

sometimes...

I get in a funk.. I start to feel less than inspired.. wonder if I am spending my time doing the right things.. lose my creative bug.. feel overextended.. which prompted a little reorganization...

finding balance  between your hobbies, dreams, goals, family and friends is somewhat exhausting when you really sit down and think about it..  you start to question,  are my dreams really worth the stress?? 
{in a funk}...

right on time, at church this week, the pastor  grabbed my attentionand said EXACTLY
what I needed to hear!

"if your dreams don't intimidate you, then they are probably insulting to God."

I am going to continue to  dream big and when my  dreams feel out of reach...

I am going to trust in his plan!

lesson 10 : landscapes

I find that I have a hard time shooting landscapes... I tend to focus more on people, kids, details, but not the big picture...  today's lesson is all about shooting the loveliness that surrounds us in nature.. after reading today's content and seeing the beautiful images they provided as examples, I am so much more inspired to keep a look out for these lovely photo ops...

let me introduce to you an amazing landscape photographer.. and one that is near to my heart. my cousin Jason.  I had no idea the magnitude of his talent until recently viewing his work.  I am amazed, inspired, and proud to say the least.

I think we have found it.. our new church

and what better place to start in building my relationship

than in reading the bible...

I fell in love with our new church for many reasons

but something that really spoke to me

is the bible reading plan

the church as a whole has committed too

and now I have committed to the plan!

a bible verse a day

six days a week

for one year...

it's a start

and it feels right!
